Look who is joining Twitter: Aishwaya Rai Bachchan!

Twitter is not everyone’s ball game in B-town, especially due to the undue criticism and scrutiny the celebs face over their tweets. And so, not many actors have yet made their presence felt on this social media platform. But if Sanjay Gupta is to be believed, director of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s most-talked about comeback film, Jazbaa, the actress is soon to join the twitter bandwagon. But, only for a day!!

Sanjay recently shared this exciting news during a chat activity helmed by a leading publishing house. The gorgeous Aishwarya, in all probability, might take over social media for a day and interact with her fans, ahead of her film’s release, Jazbaa. In the era where publicity gimmicks and promotional activities know no bounds; this one will surely ruffle some feathers.

In contrast to her father-in-law, Amitabh Bachchan, who enjoys the undisputed popularity on Twitter and her equally social-media friendly hubby, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya has managed to stay away from the social media scene. Considering the diva’s limited interaction with media, this promotional stunt will definitely grab eyeballs. However, this won’t be Aishwarya’s first brush with the twitter. Earlier in the year at Cannes Film Festival, the actress went ahead and overtook L’Oreal’s official social media platforms for a day to give her fans an insight into her day at Cannes.

With Aishwarya’s comeback to the silver screen after 5 years, director Sanjay Gupta is not leaving any stone unturned to garner maximum publicity for his film and her leading lady. And what better than having the ultimate diva interact with her fans for a day, who have been eagerly looking forward to her return to the silver screen!

Looking forward to Aishwarya’s presence on Twitter… soon.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's security has been beefed up keeping in mind the kind of promotions that she will be doing for her film 'Jazbaa' which marks her comeback on the big screen after five years.

According to a report in Mid Day, the decision has been taken after the actress was mobbed by fans at the film's wrap-up party recently..

A source informed the daily, “Aishwarya entered the party quite late and was accompanied by two of her personal security officers. As soon as news spread about her presence at the night club, a huge crowd gathered outside to catch a glimpse of her. The club’s bouncers and her security officers were no match for the surging crowd and had a tough time getting Ash out of the club. Now that the city tours are about to begin, the makers have decided to strengthen the security cover around the actress, considering her fan following.”

Another source, who is working on the project, added, “Recently, there have been few cases of actors being manhandled by fans and so, we don’t want to take any chances with Ash. She will be surrounded by 15-20 bodyguards during the promotional city tours.”

Co-producer Akash Chawla confirmed the news to the daily.

Laughter is no easy business. And when clubbed with celebrity presence, this can be one tricky call. But ace comedian Kapil Sharma sails breezily throughout his show, along with the celebs that end up laughing all the way on the jokes pulled at them. If one asks Kapil what he actually does on the show- well, he invites celebs, makes them hilariously uncomfortable :) And now, Kapil’s fanboy moment is soon to turn real. The upcoming guest on his show, Comedy Nights with Kapil, is none other than Aishwarya Rai Bachchan!

The former beauty queen, Aishwarya, who is making a comeback to the silver screen with Sanjay Gupta’sJazbaa, will soon be seen in an episode of popular the comedy show, hosted by comic actor Kapil Sharma. Aishwarya will shoot for the episode on Sep 30.

Aishwarya had taken a sabbatical from the movies for more than five years, post she became a mother to Aaradhya. The actress is now making returning to the 70mm screen with Jazbaa. And in the times like today, where promotions play a huge part in making the movie a hit with the audience, if not with the critics, this one will be interesting to see; as to how it turns out to be in the end. Aishwarya has always managed to stay away from the much-publicised media interactions. Considering the diva’s limited media outings, this promotional stunt will definitely grab eyeballs.

Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta feels Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is good at balancing her work commitments along with her motherly duties. He says she is a “remarkable hands-on mother”, who smoothly juggles her work.

Aishwarya is making her comeback on the silver screen with Gupta's film "Jazbaa".

Recalling an incident from the shooting of the crime thriller, the filmmaker said in a statement: “Once Aaradhya was unwell. I felt guilty shooting so I offered to cancel the shoot but Aishwarya insisted we carry on.

“We were shooting all night when at 3 a.m. her staff came running and said: 'She’s just vomited'. When I inquired who had vomited, the staff said it’s Aaradhya. That’s when we realised that Aaradhya had been in the van on location all through the shoot."

“The family was out of town and Aishwarya didn’t want to disrupt the movie schedule. So she brought her along instead of cancelling the shoot. If I were in her place, I’d have cancelled the shoot. I wouldn’t want to take my unwell child to work. Nobody would do that,” he added.

Praising Aishwarya’s dedication as a parent, Gupta said: “She’s a remarkable hands-on mother, father, doctor, nanny, and nurse all rolled into one.”

Produced by Zee Studios, Viiking Media and Entertainment and White Feather Films, “Jazbaa”, which also stars Irrfan Khan, is slated to release on October 9.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is too busy with Jazbaa’s promotions and is quite excited about the Sanjay Gupta film. She has been on a spree and is taking the film everywhere. The gorgeous diva was seen at a city college where she was promoting the film.

There she met with a visually impaired fan with whom she interacted really well. Aish was kind and compassionate toward her and that wasn’t out of pity but out of her kindness.

The two talked a lot and even posed for pictures. We really love the way she went out of her way to interact with her and made sure she wasn’t pushed around by the crowd. Aish even took it upon herself to get her seated away from the crowd for her safety.

This was a sweet gesture our diva did out of her generosity. Watch it post 3.15 min.

Being a real-life mother helped me for 'Jazbaa': Aishwarya

Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan says that the experience of being a mother in real life helped her bring substantial truth in playing her character in "Jazbaa".

"Actually having become a mother was perfect for a script like this because there is a lot of truth to the nuancing you can bring in. In terms of any dramatic moment, you can bring in a degree of truth to the sense of drama without necessarily being overt, and yet be there with all heart, every pulse, every cell of your body actually committed to that moment. Experience does bring in a lot of honesty here," said Aishwarya at an film promotion event at a law college here on Tuesday.

"That's what made me bring a lot of integrity and truth also to the way I've essayed Anuradha," she added.

In "Jazbaa", Aishwarya's character of an advocate is facing a tricky situation as there is a danger of losing her daughter if she doesn't get a criminal out by fighting his case.

Regarding how real-life experiences help actors, she says: "As actors, you don't necessarily constantly refer to real-life experiences, but as an artist, experience is the greatest teacher.

"So you will otherwise be referencing, picking up from somebody else's life, or from impressions which we very often don't realize... sometime impressed by the cinema you've viewed. That's the kind of subconscious imaging with which you come on the set. But having become a mother was perfect for a script like this. "

Aishwarya had taken a break from movies after her daughter Aaradhya was born in 2011. She now feels that taking care of her daughter's needs kept her fully occupied. "For us being new mothers, there is no concept of the way time flies. You are multitasking on another level," she said.

"Jazbaa" directed by Sanjay Gupta also starring Irrfan Khan, is releasing on October 9.

Exclusive: I always tell Aaradhya that I’m going to office when I step out for my shoots – Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, undoubtedly, is a remarkable hands-on mother as we have heard a lot about her balancing her work commitments along with her motherly duties.

Since she’s always been part of her daughter, Aaradhya’s life and vice versa, how did the actress handle the situation when she had to go for her shoots? “I always tell her that I’m going to office, it either becomes a bus office or the Janak office (Bachchans’ property used as an office). She knows that I’m an office going mom,” says Aishwarya, who makes her comeback with Sanjay Gupta's 'Jazbaa'.

She continues, “In this age, from last year when Aaradhya turned two-and-a-half years old, every week to two weeks there is such a growth spurt and within that itself understanding grows overnight. Suddenly a week later you feel she is much more adult than the last week, or last month. There is a change in development and maturing of a child and along with that there’s their own sense of discovering and application.”

Earlier, before she started shooting ‘Jazbaa’, Aishwarya had quite a few advertising assignments to complete for which she would travel overseas. “Even those days, staying in the hotel or while getting ready, I never went to a separate area. I would always get ready in my suite. I would always be around her till the last minute when I would finally go for my assignment. Lot of mothers say that I am lucky and that I can actually blur the line of my office space. Well, if I do have that blessing I will take it. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to spend as much time with my daughter. Probably it has made easier for me to choose working simultaneously or else I would have taken a longer break,” says the gorgeous actress.

Three days after the release of her comeback film, ‘Jazbaa’, which is helmed by Sanjay Gupta, and a day after Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday on October 11, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will leave for the shoot of Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ that has Ranbir Kapoor in the male lead. The film also stars Anushka Sharma in the lead role. Buzz has it that Aishwarya will join the star cast in Vienna schedule.

The film that went on floors early this month, in London, is currently being shot in Paris. Karan Johar, who has returned to the director's chair after a gap of three years, shared a picture from the streets of Paris today. Ranbir and Anushka will be sharing the screen space together for the second time, their first film being ‘Bombay Velvet’, which also featured Karan Johar. While fans are familiar with Ranbir and Anushka's chemistry, Ranbir and Aishwarya coming together for the first time has been garnering a lot of curiosity.

Aishwarya sounded extremely excited about the film and conveyed that through her expressions as well with that twinkle in her eyes. “Three days later (‘Jazbaa’ releases on October 9) am on a flight to ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and am out of here a day after Pa’s birthday,” said Aishwarya, further adding, “I’m very excited, really looking forward to it.” While Aishwarya is obviously tight-lipped about the film or her role, it’s rumoured that Anushka would play the role of Aishwarya's sister in the movie.
